This is by far one of my favorite quotes.  So many people in my life have not believed in me and communicated their judgment and disbelief to me in one way or another.

This quote inspires me to disregard hurtful words and actions and instead cultivate a steadfast belief in the truth - I'm holding on and doing the best that I can do despite failures and obstacles.  We have to be our most steadfast advocate and realize that in the end, it doesn't matter if anyone else believes in us or not.

I think the key here is to apply physical and mental energies to only one problem at a time rather than worrying about a multiple of problems, which drains energy.

I've been going through extremely stressful crisis situations with my teenage sons lately.  Just in the last few days I've gotten to a point where I'm absolutely at the end of my rope.  Void of any energy to continue on.  I'm still hanging on by a thread.
